Where applicable
During transportation of saplings, care is taken to protect the root
from damage and so it is covered by suitable natural products like
leaves, straw etc. But due to poor strength and abrasion resistance of the materials,
chances of damage is high. Instead cut pieces of light jute fabric is
very effective.
For carrying individual sapling, carry bags with sling is used, while
the root is wrapped by cut piece.
Why applied
 The
saplings remain fresh with frequent irrigation during transportation.
The cover need not be removed during plantation.
The carry bags makes the job of the carrier easy and comfortable for a
long distance travel.
