PACKAGING OF CROP & GRAINS

Jute bags are used for efficient packaging, transportation and storage of crop and grain of various size and shape. Jute packaging for the purpose is well known through out the world. Starting from green vegetables to dry leaves and grains of different sizes, packaging of different mesh, shape and size are used widely. For packaging of costly products like spices, tea, coffee, cocoa, hazzle nuts odour-free packages have been developed. for powdery material polythene lined and laminated packs are used. Side by side bulk packs for grains have been developed to economize handling and transportation..

Why applied

Jute packs can be used repeatedly for 5 - 6 times maintaining same capacity due to low extensibility. As a result effective cost of packaging is reduced. It is easily repaired in case of minor damage during handling. The fabrics have enough space for breathing, which keeps the products inside the bag fresh.

Stack height of jute bags is higher than that of other bags saving storage space.

How to apply

Mouth of the bags are closed by tying or stitching for transportation and storage. After several uses the bags may be sent for recycling to be used as super sod after reprocessing for instant lawn making.
